Iloilo City former named "Irong-Irong" by a Bornean Datu Paiburong who landed in this land. It is a highly urbanized city in the Philippines. Iloilo has it's nicknames, "La Muy Noble Ciudad" (The Noble City) by the Queen Regent of Spain due to economical development of Iloilo, the "City of Love" and "Emerging Museum City". Ilonggo is also the name of the culture associated with the people speaking Hiligaynon and also describe as "Malambing" because of their sweet dialect when spoken.
